WHAT IS SCREEN PRINTING?
Screen printing is a printing technique that involves pushing ink through a stencil or mesh screen onto a substrate to create a design, image, or artwork. We achieve this by cutting out your design from the screen, allowing ink to pass through only the designated areas. While there’s a lot of technical work involved, we’ll keep it simple.
Once your screen is set up, we apply the ink one color at a time, using a blade or squeegee to pull it over the mesh. This process pushes the ink through the mesh and onto the garment. Each layer of ink must be “flash cured” before printing the next color. After all the colors are printed, your shirts go through heat curation to ensure the print remains intact for as long as possible.
